About Charles Patterson, Jr.

Charles E. Patterson, Jr.
"Writer, Director, Actor"

Charles E Patterson, Christal Entertainment Productions (CEP) is a Writer, Producer, and Director.  He has always had a passion for Sports, Theater and Film.  Growing up watching his favorite team the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was impressed with their dominating presence.  With their rigorous training program they executed their plays with such accuracy and precision.  Charles has adapted this same principle when it comes to directing his plays.  He tells his cast, if they will do their best, memorize their lines, following his direction and guidance and practice like a professional athlete trains; they will become the character. They will bring the production to life and for the audience, they will make the play real.  Acting is art and is best when it imitates life.

Charles is committed to enhancing the hidden talents of actors while creating a vehicle for cultural enrichment, education, creative stimulation, spiritual inspiration, and just good old family laughter. His goal is to consistently provide first class family entertainment that will have you coming back for more.

In addition to directing, Charles is also an actor.  He models himself after some of his favorite actors, Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, and Samuel L. Jackson. They bring their characters to life and make them believable.   Having worked and performed in countless productions, Charles can truly say he's worked with some amazing people over the years. He's written, co-written, produced, directed and co-directed many stage productions that deal with the complexities of today's society and family life.  His resume consists of two films, two commercials and many theatre productions.  He has performed and/or directed the following:

Charles started in the film SAHKANAGA. This movie is based on a true story where over 300 bodies were discovered on the property of the Tri-State Crematory in the Appalachian foothills of northwest Georgia.  Sahkanaga was directed by John Henry Summerour, NYC.
